Do I ever feel strange about the ultimate solution to this problem......IT WAS A TIMING BELT IN THE PROCESS OF GOING OUT. I thought they always just went out at once.....just pull up to a light and it dies and wont start again. well it finally did that, and I knew what it was immediately(the timing belt problem that is)as I've had one go out before and i recognized the symptoms. But , alas, all the squeaking stopped.....and the guy said that does happen. I know I have never heard of it being the timing belt. thanks guys, still love this site , its the greatest. girard
