I have a 1988 Lincoln Town car, it wants to start but just won't. I have replaced the sarted twice and the battery, I have done everything I can think of but it just won't kick over. I need some in put with this problem if you have any thoughts please help. Thanks

Is the starter turning the engine over and it wont start?

you replaced th sarted? I don't under stand? Do you mean starter?
Does the engine turn over?
When was it running last?
Possible inertia switch in the trunk shutting off the fuelpump?
