Angry fnnn 93 taurus

Hello,
I have a 93 taurus (3.0L) it started with a radiator problem. After replacing the radiator I started the car but the alternator light was on which it wasn't before changing the radiator. It ran fine but in the process of trying to daignose the alternator problem it quit starting and now has no spark but has 12 volts at coil. I tried to hook up my scanner but it cannot communicate with the scanner. What is up with this I'm about to go ballistic. Is it the pcm? which I'm afraid of because of the altenator light problem. I hate not having a good diagnostic procedure for this. Thanks for any input.

Sounds like you must have bumped or hit an important wire. Maybe you pinched a wire & grounded it out? It doesn't sound like the pcm to me. More likely you just don't have power. Double & triple check the wiring.

Maybe another member has some ideas?

If this has the computer box on top of the radiator, check connections to this first. Tap it while trying to start car.

Ok, Ill check the wiring. Yes , it does have the computer box on top of the radiator. Other than tapping on it, is there a way to ohm it or check to see if its bad? Thanks
